After years of running "natural" game ala Mark Manson (Along with other body language and communication experts like Vanessa Van Edwards), and having a great deal of success that way, I came across Todd V on youtube earlier this year and was blown away by the analysis he would offer. It opened my eyes a lot to why certain nights had gone better for me, and some weaknesses in my game. Most notably his concept of "levelling" which is that natural/direct game will work excellently on girls who are naturally kind of in awe of you, but that to game exceptionally beautiful women who are used to getting attention from high value men requires a little extra nous. There were a lot of other things he said that I found so interesting I actually started looking at different technical game products which I'd always been told were manipulative and what not, and found nothing morally reprehensible about them. So I decided to grab a technical game product and baught the system when it dropped.
It's been amazing so far.
But one concept I'm yet to really put in place in my game is getting girls to qualify to me. I've found I feel comfortable saying things like "You seem kinda cool but I'd like to know more about you before I... well you know", which I used to great effect one night. But I'm struggling to come up with other ways to get women to qualify to me on the fly and I don't like using canned stuff.
The problem is, I fucking HATE it when a woman tries to get me to qualify to her. I saw it a mile away long before I read nay technical game or came across the terms qualifying/evaluating. It immediately screams "power games" and arrogance to me and pretty much guarantees the girl will be nothing but a casual thing for me. I know Todd says that qualifying invitations should be subtle and not display any kind of agenda, so maybe it's just that I'm super sensitive to it.
But the thing is, I'm reticent to actually try evaluation phase stuff more because I'm kinda sensitive to it myself and expect girls in the set to be just as sensitive to me. But I won't know until I try it more, I get that, but I don't want to try it because it will feel so incongruent. I'm in a catch-22.
I guess I wanna ask, do girls in general just feel differently about being evaluated by high value men then I do? Is it a bit like when you're a total noob and learning that disagreeing with girls (when you honestly do have a differing opinion) is paradoxically attractive?
To guys who have developed a sense of subtlety and nous in your qualifying, do you notice it much? How powerful is it? Is it a serious component to your toolkit? Is it worth just pushing through the awkwardness to try it out?
I'm comfortable being confident, but not arrogant. I don't entertain the presence of arrogant people and don't want to become one. How do you tow that line while evaluating?
