Yes. Old Julien, Shock and Awe Julien, did a lot of things that looked really bad either out of context, or if you’re the kind of person that “doesn’t care about consent” (meaning they don’t care if a woman consents to something, you’re still a dirty filthy predator).

At the height of his debauchery, Julien went to Japan. As you may know, Japanese society is very subservient, and differential to authority. This was a perfect storm. Mainstream media ended up seeing some particularly epic but PG Julien moments and there was an entire media shit-storm about PUA being misogynists and related to Elliot Rodger. The storm culminated in him going on some mainstream talk show and apologizing. As soon as the thing blew up almost all RSD vids were taken down (by RSD). Many, but not all, have since been put back up. Alex left, Julien mostly rebranded, and live events were very strange for a while.
