I can't say I can help you with your problem, but I hope you find this place useful and can keep posting.

Especially in male-dominated online spaces, there will always be those dudes who think that a poster is "attention seeking" just by virtue of being a woman. So, I can imagine you may get hostile responses from time to time, but I hope your experience is overall a positive one.
