This doesn't seem like a relevant topic, but yes. I used to browse 9gag and facebook and it's basically as BP as it gets. I highly recommend reading this on the topic of wasting time on such useless information.

That's because the people who make memes spend all day on the Internet because they have no life and are probably socially awkward and pretty beta. An alpha isn't going to waste his day on the Internet. He's going to be out in the world trying to conquer it

Yes, 9gag is BP. Also it's target audience are mentally retarded manchildren who fancy "le memes" and "le funny jokes". Not exactly the best people to be around with.
