Hey, quick situation and question,

This girl maybe a 4 or 5 I was assigned to sit next to her in class. Were adults, I think she even has kids. This class is for a field that is 80% male dominated. It's a blue collar job. I'm not interested in dating her.

Anyways shes always asking to look in my textbook every class because she forgets hers or whatever, and I oblige because she isn't a hindrance or annoyance, I just mind my own space etc. and I like to be friends with everyone if possible so I am nice.

Last time throughout class she had laughed and touched my thigh, leaning over with her elbow on my chair, and physically leaning in my direction. She also had her legs in my personal space and her shin was on mine putting a decent amount of pressure.

MY reaction is to hold my ground. I don't change posture, tone of voice, or retract my leg to show that I'm holding my ground and not nervous at all. (I am not at this point so I make conscious effort to show how I feel without verbally saying so) At one point, It's so obvious what shes doing to me that I even reinforce my leg and put slight pressure back. Within the next minute or two she leaves my personal space and goes back while leaving her legs near mine but stops touching them and says outloud to me (Oh sorry Komin, I thought your leg was the end of the table)

bullshit.. anyhow, how may I have come across to her? Did I do a good job of showing her that she doesn't make me nervous and that I am not going to let her show dominance? Or may I have come across a different way?
