She sounds young or immature, and I'm not inclined to think that she would follow up with you after she got through her "issues".

In this case her actions matter more than her words.

As for you, you did the right thing initially, for the right reason. You were getting obsessed aka one-itis, recognized that you had a problem and changed your direction. Pat yourself on the back, as a lot of guys would hang in there, wait for this girl, not take any action, and then get their hearts broken because she hooks up with some douche at a party.

Now she may be realizing you were a good long term option, but even if she is coming around, you had to ignore her to do so. She responds positively to negativity. That is a recipe for disaster.

That's what fucked up looks like. Keeps stringing you along, never really acting right. Always promising, always in some sort of "trouble".

Girls like this often end up dating trainwreck guys that will give them the sort of drama that they respond to.

Bro, be thankful that you're not built like that.

As for what to do, let her see you shine, but don't initiate. If she initiates, you tell her to come over. The girl doesn't get to even see the inside of a Starbucks with you until she proves herself. She has already shown you who she is.
