Not sure if this is the best place to post this, excuse me if it's not.

Basically I had a summer fling with this girl, we'll call her Kelly last year. It was a good time and we both understood she had to return back to the city for college in the fall, and that was that.

Ive been interested in this other girl Ana, and I just recently noticed via social media that they know each other and are actually friends, which has to be fairly recent because I probably would have known about it last summer.

I actually messaged Ana the other night (she didn't reply) and then RIGHT after I did, I noticed her and Kelly are friends. I feel like because of that Kelly probably knows now and it's kind of embarrassing. I feel like I'm in a pickle and just lost a chance with either or the two girls again in the future.

Im just wondering if anyone's been in a similar situation and what they did. Or what they would do?
