Is up to the man to decide. You will lose value in their eyes just for asking. Woman don't want to decide. Don't like to be put in control.

Do not put labels on it. Just let the relationship evolve naturally. Any label will make her to feel restricted. Labels area artificial, and always hurt the relationship. Women need the uncertainty.
