Question for the experts: I'm stumbling on stacking material for opening completely vanilla, middle age or younger middle age (not 20 somethings) women who are very obviously local inhabitants out doing their whatever. Often it's walking a dog in the park. Generic local clothes, nothing in any way overtly hot or meant to attract per se.

I find it much easier to open the woman who for any number of reasons looks either particularly hip and/or a tourist. They have attributes I can stack with, and there's always the cheap and weak but still functional fall back of "where are you from?".

But with a casual local, and a direct opener delivered with a friendly sly smile (and I can almost always get a woman to smile back at me by the way, a key basic skill)...what's the interesting observation about her as an instant follow up, when there is in fact nothing particularly unique or "Interesting" about what she's presenting at the moment? Here are some ideas I have, I'd like to hear others. Not having such material comfortably ready is way too frequently increasing my AA and stopping me from good opportunities, and/or causing me to completely flub the open by opening indirect, or literally having NO follow up and just letting her wander away!

- "I saw you and I notice how relaxed you are, its awesome, I like that".

- "I saw you hurrying along and I thought wow, this woman is awesome high energy! I like that. Maybe you're a high power lawyer or politician or something".

- "You've got that SF cool vibe about you, I'm guessin' you own a cannabis club or something."

- "I like your relaxed style, I just had to come say hello".

As for a flirty or teasing comment (ideal to tag that one pretty quick), I just don't know what in the generic realm I would say with confidence. "You look very relaxed and stylish...though maybe a dash of color would add to that look, whaddaya think?".

Suggestions?
