It's hard to tell without more context because the small conflict might have just been the straw that broke the camel's back; she might have started feeling insecure in the relationship earlier, and having the argument might have pushed her over the limit. It really sucks, but like others have said, don't talk to her anymore if you have any feelings for her. She seems to have a hard time trusting you, and I'm sure her friends are not helping the situation (in fact they might also be a reason that you guys broke up).
