I think you should go for it! Women aren’t usually the ones taking action and I know it may be weird because is not considered “normal” but you two seem to have good chemistry and no matter what happens I’m sure he would be flattered by your interest in him. He probably dreams of you taking the next step because the age difference is probably what’s holding him back as well. Give him a subtle sign, maybe when the coffee shop is empty give him your number. I strongly encourage the bar idea but there may be a chance he might not make it, having his number would be much more convenient so both of you don’t waste your time. I find these kind of situations lovely and exciting especially hearing it from a woman’s perspective. I’m sure he’s dying to be with you too so just break that barrier and stop letting age hold you back. You’re not a child, you’re an adult who can make logical decisions and seem to be doing fine picking what you want and who you want to be with and I admire that from a girl that is around my age group because it truly is rare, and I’m positive he will admire that too! It depends on how you make the move. I'd advice you to show some serious signs of interest and let him make the first move.
