I was teaching a group of students in the library and noticed a girl in my class join. I thought she was pretty so I thought I might as well look for body language signs to start "gaming". I've noticed that she would initiate conversation with me, and hold them if she noticed I would stop replying. But as I looked in her eyes she would barely hold eye contact and start looking around. I thought I was creeping her out but she would keep on initiating conversation with me. The longest we holded eye contact for was maybe 2-3 seconds. My take is she's just not interested or is taken, just being friendly. I didn't really fish for info when I noticed I wasn't recieving strong eye contact. What does it mean? Trying to increase my social intellect and read people so any help on a minor moment would be great lol.

P.s. it was a friendly convo with lots of smiling so no, I didn't stare into the soul of abyss and look insanely creepy lol
