Making fun of others is always a risk, esp to women who are overly offended when anything physical is brought up. Now if you compliment her belly button and joke about yours, that would be a safer approach IMO

Making fun is good but I would follow it up with a compliment and make sure you're not being too serious when you do it, being playful. Also try not to tease on their looks because most women are insecure about their looks
