I perform on stage frequently. Last two shows, each time a pair of women came up to me because one of the women was into me and wanted to compliment me on ... you know ... the show.

I didn't handle it well because I was all wrapped up in the show and my performance, and I wasn't thinking in terms of game at all. Even though in the bigger picture, I always wonder when I'm preparing for a show if I'm going to meet someone attractive.

The first time, it was a gal who was not attractive to me at all. Really not my type. I just kind of smiled and politely said, "Thanks!" and she left.

But I should have tried game on her, (1) to be a nice person, and (2) to practice for when the same thing happens and it's a hot babe.

The second time it happened I engaged the pair of women for a minute or so of polite chit-chat, but I kind of scanned the one who was into me and thought, "not my type, not tonight" and more or less moved on. But later on while onstage I saw her again and dammit seeing her from across the room she was pretty hot. By the time I was free again she was gone from the venue. I probably wouldn't have gone for the close or anything but I was kicking myself for not doing at least a little bit of game ... asked her about herself, tried assumption stacking ("you look like you're in party mode", or teased her ("wow so nice that you like the show, are you my groupie now? Ahh I'm kidding!" ... light kino).

Should have tried all this on the first girl too. It doesn't mean you're a dick if you flirt with people you don't intend to date, more like, it's another way to make people happy and be happy.

BTW I used to seldom get any attention from girls when I was performing. What changed was I really turned on the smiles onstage and set out to be extra-happy and to show my vibe to the audience. I was never a boring performer, I was always more animated than my colleagues, but stuff didn't start to happen until I decided I had to REALLY be the happy fun guy.
