I moved to a new city 10 months ago for grad school and instantly started practicing spinning plates. I got fairly good at setting up a string of dates that evolved either into one night stands or casual relationships. I recently began pursuing a girl who attends my graduate program, and we've gotten pretty serious, but I feel as if I might be showing signs of neediness and perhaps being to available.

I have hobbies (i'm passionate about cooking, I play music, and collect vinyl records, and lift 5x a week) and I attend school, but that doesn't take up all of my time.

Any suggestions as to how to play this? Is the answer just to text her less and be less available? Is there a middle ground here?
