Some quick backstory: I’m sitting in class and two seats down is this drop dead gorgeous girl. I feel like she keeps glancing at me in my peripheral but I never look to confirm. All of a sudden a friend of hers walks into the class room and sits next to her. Was she glancing at me or the door earlier? No idea. Class went out for a quick break. When she came back with her friend, I over heard them say something along the lines of “he’s exactly your type!” Was it about me? Probably wishful thinking. I don’t know. Before the break ends, her friend introduces themselves to me, I introduce myself to both of them, we make small talk for the remainder of the break “what program are you in, where are you from” etc. That was last week.

Today: We see each other in class again today, this time without her friend. She’s alone. We talk, help each other out with the material, I get her number so that we can get together sometime and study.

Class ends. She says let’s get lunch. Fuck yeah. We eat, we talk some more, relationship topic comes up, I ask if she has a boyfriend. She hesitates. “Kind of”. “Kind of? What does that mean? FwB?” No! “I’m sort of seeing someone but he lives in Germany”. We live in Toronto. I ask how serious. She says just dating but she’ll see when she meets up with him in winter break. What does that mean?? I don’t know I didn’t ask. She asks me about my status. Am I single? Yes. FwB? Also yes.

We spend the next 5 hours studying, talking, laughing, and crying.

This girl is really cool. She’s beautiful. She’s smart. She’s funny. And she smells phenomenal. I want her. Bad.
