I haven’t dated in a couple years but I feel confident enough to get back in the game. There’s this gorgeous girl I see often in my college’s dining hall by herself.

How do I approach her in a way that doesn’t seem creepy or too forward? Do I mention I’ve seen her around a lot or is that weird? If she shuts down my flirtation by saying “I have a boyfriend” or something like that how do I smoothly and politely exit the conversation?

Asking because the climate at my college is a lot different than it was in high school and my old strategies were super amateur.
