TLDR; Are the chances of a woman rejecting you influenced by how long you've known each other for?

I think the amount of time you spend with women influences the chances of her rejecting you and here is why:

Before I got into game, I asked out 4 girls:

  • First girl, hung out for 2 months before asking her out. Result: Rejected
  • Second girl, hung out for 1 month. Result: Rejected
  • Third girl, hung out for 2 weeks. Result: Date
  • Fourth girl, hung out for 1 hour. Result: Date

Looks like a 50% rejection rate, even though I had no game. Although, the sample size may be too small to make a conclusion, so I could've just been lucky. After improving my game and getting into cold approaching, I've asked out 18 girls, and 4 of them have shown up to a first date, which is roughly 80% rejection rate. Note, all my cold approaches have been indirect and are during daytime inside a college campus. Also, when I say rejection rate, it includes the situation where she gives you her number but flakes on the first date.

Cold approach interactions last between 5-10 minutes. So, comparing my results between the 4 girls and 18 girls, the former have a lower rejection rate. My hypothesis is that if you spend more time with the girl, then she's less likely to reject you. But, there has to be an upper limit to this. If you go past the upper limit, for example, more than a month, the girl knows too much about you, so you end up in the friend zone. On the other extreme, is the lower limit, which is going up to a random girl and just straight up ask her out without any conversation. This interaction lasts about 30 seconds and will get you rejected 95% of the time because she knows nothing about you. So, there has to be a time frame where her chances of rejecting you is the lowest. I think it has to be somewhere between hanging out with the girl between 1 hour to a week.

Here is one piece of evidence, showing an attractive guy with good game doing a cold approach:

Watch the approach at 4:05. The girl is clearly attracted to him, but at 8:35, when he asks her out, she says "I have to think about it", indicating that she is hesitant to go out with him and I think it's because they've only known each other for less than 5 minutes. Is there any other reason for her to be hesitant?

I know factors such as game, grooming, facial structure and social status influences the chances of a girl rejecting you, but, does the length of time you've hung out with each other for also have an impact?

Theory is good, but testing it out is much better, so I'll be doing an experiment on this. I'll do my usual indirect approach, but instead of asking them out for a date, I'll ask to hang out casually. I'll also get her social media contact instead of number, so that it's perceived more like a casual thing. I'll hang out with them for at least an hour before asking them out. This will be done for 20 women before I come up with a conclusion, although, even 20 may be too small of a sample size.
