Hey guys,
I know, given the warm reception of my previous guide, I've to continue writing practical guides that can help you take MASSIVE action and achieve your goals. I know many of you are beginners. Therefore, I would share beginners' topics that can help you. Hopefully, these tips serve as a course-correction and for you guys to become high-value guys. Unfortunately, a lot of the free advice out is either too drawn out or lacking depth. Therefore, I'm confident that I can give you some of the best information out there.
This week's topic is on How to Conquer any fear. I'll write a part II in a few days, and then I'll dwell on how to conquer social anxiety and rejection. Part I might be a little morbid, but it'll progressively become more and more optimistic.
1-Understand that you will die one day.
At present, there's no cure for aging. Therefore, every day you are slowly dying. Mystery and Tyler have both talked about the death lurking on the background is a great motivator to take action. Unfortunately, many people live Life as if they were going to live forever. Therefore, they are much more inclined to do nothing. That's right they will do nothing! They go through the motions of Life never for once stopping and thinking about the purpose of it all. Even people who come from somewhat stable upbringings they never pause and philosophize about the world. These people commit a massive mistake since they are throwing their lives away by either being afraid of doing what they want to do or doing something they hate.
2-Understand that you can die suddenly.
Unfortunately, many people assume that Life will go on forever. They believe they'll live until 120, and they'll start thinking about more in-depth topics then. Moreover**, some people take Life for granted they'll work an office job which they hate**. These people commit massive mistakes since they are wasting more time, while your Life can snap out of you in an instant. For instance, I had a school counselor once who told me that his friends from high after graduating had a car crash and died in an instant. While this might be uncommon, people who are closer to death cherish Life much more and lack many of the fears that those who don't.
3- Understand that Life is random and terrible things can happen
Society tries its best to eliminate the randomness of Life and explain it away with narratives. For instance, you've probably watched, 'The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire" or "The Rise and Fall of Pablo Escobar" These narratives are meant to simplify reality and to make it digestible for most people. Therefore, most people conceptualize their Life in those terms that there will be a rise and a fall. However, sometimes there will never be rise. Your parents might die and you might have to drop out of school and work a dead-end job. I had a friend from college who had a similar situation. Therefore, what you need to do is to take action NOW. Don't wait until everything in your life is perfect or until you become confident to do something. Do it first and become confident later.
Remember that it's the people who have faced the most hardships are usually the ones who have the least fears since they know what it's like to be on the extreme bottom, so they instead take action now than to go back.
4-Know that there's NO CLOSURE in Life
Society tries its best to give structure to Live everything from the way television portrays the world to the way schools, colleges, and workplaces operate. You are lead to assume that you need to climb up the ranks, and eventually, you will be rewarded. However, if you had this experience of going through the levels, you realize that it might lead to nothing. Your last day of school after enduring bullying and social marginalization might only be your headmaster shaking your hand and bidding you farewell and then never seeing those people who mistreat you punished.
The need for closure is closely tied to the need for justice. You might not get the truth you feel you will get. For instance, if you watch Hollywood movies, the nerd gets the girl, and the jock is punished for his behavior. Meanwhile, I know in real life nerds who never rose above their situation. Those people remained low value. While many jocks did fine and lived off their parent's money.
5- Know that the longer you put off things the worst it becomes
Many of my students come to me and tell me, "I'll start taking action once I graduate high school, once I get my graduate degree or once I start my new job," however, this doesn't happen. What happens is that you go through the motions of life. While in high school and college you are held back due to their strict parents it's in the workplace you will be held back by your harsh boss and your nagging wife. The cutoff point, however, is when you have kids. Once this happens, it's challenging for you to live your own life, instead, you have to live life for your family, and all your money and time will go to them. Therefore, accomplishing your goals will be much harder.
Conclusion
Message me to join our secret mastermind group. I hope you guys can take this list and self-examine your Life, and don't worry; the next part will get much more concrete and optimistic. Once you have death behind you, there's nothing in life that you should fear. It's not Life which you should fear but rather death.
