I would take a slightly different approach than simply introducing yourself because if she is a hot girl on a college campus, I am sure she is approached by other guys often.

Do something a little more that stands out. Maybe use an observational opener. Is she eating Jimmy John's? Make a funny comment about that and then the next time you see her call her Jimmy John as a slight neg.

Bring a cute girl from a class to study at the library one day where you call her Jimmy in front of the girl as a little joke.

Something like this would stand out more and give you more character to her.
