You agreed you weren't gonna date. So why do you feel used? (• ▽ •;)

I’m going to give a real answer instead of a 2 second thumbs up. Taken from a mans perspective who’s successfully dated for a while: I say everything with love here. One of you has got unresolved emotions. Could he using you for sex to get over his slump or as a bounce back. Sounds like both of you have an image of an ideal date set up in his head that isn’t meet for one reason or another. How long have you guys been single? How long without consistent great sex? Honest assessment, why haven’t you initiated sex? Is he not the type of guy you’re normally attracted to? If not, where does he fall short? Where do you? Another honest assessment... is there a looks imbalance (he a 5, you an 8 or vice versa) If so that will undoubtably be a factor. I know when I meet up with girls and we ‘click’, we can’t keep our hands off each other. Did one of you recently get your heart broken? If so you could be reaching for something that isn’t there. Finally honest assessment... how was the sex? You mentioned it as an afterthought. If so mabe it really wasn’t worth pursuing again for either of you. Did either of you blow each other’s minds and bring of your bag of freak tricks, or was it a sleepy hump and cuddle? If the latter, he (or you) could think it’s not worth pursuing much farther. Give it some thought. Finally did you friend zone each other in the first place? Your answer lies somewhere in an honest assessment of these questions.

This post had to be taken down because it appears to be focused on a specific situation or person. While Field Reports deal with specific situations and people, remember that the focus is different:
No worries though! Though the thread has been taken down, any conversations you have started here can still continue, and if you want to PM a mod to get their opinion on this thread, feel free to do so and they will still be able to weigh in.
For next time, remember that posts about a specific situational advice with a specific person are fine as field should be directed to Ask Seddit (/r/askseddit), not to be confused with Ask Reddit.

Again all with love.
I haven’t initiated the sex because I don’t want to move out of my comfort zone. I don’t wanna come off to him as this “horny chick” I rather have it happen naturally. Plus I appreciate our friendship so I don’t want to ruin that or let him think of me and something less. -“Comfort zone” red flag for both of you. You’re not ready for a relationship with him and possibly don’t see each other as a potential mate. Plain and simple. If you were, you’d be eager to please and vice versa.
“He’s definitely my type of guy.” - but mabe not the one you’re honestly attracted to. If so, you’d be attached at the hip.
“The one and only time we had sex he was about to bust in seriously 5mins. Puts on a condom then i think he last for a total for 10mins maybe 15mins five or take. I remember he asked me if I came and of course I lied and said yes. Haha. But I’d be/I am willing to give him a second chance at sex.” - sex was trash. The words “did you cum?” should never leave a man’s mouth. Neither does “of course I lied” There should never be a doubt. You both know immediately when you did a good job. If he knows he bombed with you, he may be very gun shy. Have sex long enough and it happens to everyone eventually, myself included. Hard to recover from mentally. Second time has to really shine. If you’re more experienced, take the lead next time. Don’t wait to be ‘pleasured’. Go get what you need/want. Who cares if it comes across slutty. Slutty>unsatisfied
“I just don’t know why he constantly talks to me and invites me to hangout. He claims no dating but wants me around. I just wonder if I’m a safety net?” - Sounds like you’re both using each other as safety nets- waiting for the Dwayne Johnson, Tom Hardy, Eva Mendez, etc to show up.
(Again, with love)If this is something you want, stop playing the bullshit high school games and stop thinking “how you’re going to come across”. Be firm and decisive with what you want and need in the relationship. Expect/demand your partner do the same.
