So found TRP about 2 month ago, started reading the sidebar and such. About a month ago I got off my ass and started working out. I'm 6"6' about 210 and could barely do 5 push ups let alone a pull up, so I got a lot of work ahead of me(Ex Hardcore gamer, WoW player world ranked use to play it like it was paying my salary which at one point in time it did). I started by doing some Calisthenic workouts in the park while I put some cash aside for a gym membership as well as a starting point so I could at least bench the bar 5 times.

Come to find out I actually like doing the Calisthenic workout and have seen some good progress(I can do a pull up!). My personal goals are to both improve my actual strength as well as build a body that will attract women. To be quite honest I have some good genetics(height and looks) and despite my rather blue pill flaws I have managed to stumble my way into some pussy here and there just based on that(also when I'm intoxicated I get rather Redpill, downside is I usually blackout and don't remember much). So I know it's there in me I just need to focus and bring it to the surface while I'm sober and only a daily basis.

But now I have an active drive to better myself in that area as well as style. But, I everything I've been reading in these subs is, lift lift lift. I now have the cash to drop on a gym membership and I could honestly care less if people snicker as the abysmally small amount of weight I can currently move.

Will keeping with Calisthenics only produce the result I'm looking for? Should I drop them completely for a pure lifting routine? Is pure online research enough to plan a respective lifting routine or should I look into a trainer for a few weeks/months?

Sadly none of my current friends have any desire to leave candyland(WoW). I've broke contact with 95% of them because of this, so all I got is TRP and the internet to sort this out. I fixed my diet about 6 months ago because of a hyperglycemic episode and follow a mostly Paleo diet atm. Since I started working out I have added carbs back into the mix but at much smaller portions.

Any other advise is appreciated as well.
