If you've NEVER approached before, then yea sure, it's good to have a go to line incase you freeze up.
The more you do this, the less you want to rely on a canned opener and just become spontaneous at starting conversations out of thin air.

I guess I won't know unless I try. I have spoken to women hear and there, but never has there been an instance where I have seen a woman and approached them because I thought they were attractive. It was always like a passing conversation that never lead to anything. I understand what you're saying though, thanks.

The issue with canned openers is that you risk making up the dialog ahead and if the answer doesn’t go as expected you may freeze.
Maybe you could try a situational opener

For example let's say you are at a karaoke you say to the girl near you "do they all sing like this?" or maybe "wanna sing with me?"
Just don't rely too much on the openers as... well... they are openers they don't really mean much, it's essentially a complex way to say hello whatever they answer keep the conversation going.

Got it! Openers breaks the ice, just keep the convo going. If the goal is to grab Starbucks then steer the convo into that direction right?

If you can do a smooth transition then yes go ahead otherwise you can just say something like "you look interesting, would you like to grab a coffee?"
