So, I’m younger, and since most people my age have TikTok, I downloaded it to see what the hype was I immediately noticed there were like three sides, comedy, dumb shit, and girls my age dancing and shit, which I originally thought the dancing was really stupid but now it’s one of those things I know they do out of boredom and accidentally got popular doing. But anyway, when a bunch of girls my age started appearing in my FYP, I started to notice that I actually share interests and have a surprising amount of things in common with a lot of them, to the point I wanna DM them and talk a little bit at least.

So usually, when it’s someone that’s around my age with a smaller following, I’ll bring up an interest and tell them my name, they’d respond, and it’s all good. These TikTokers are so fucking huge, it’s rare to find one that’ll respond. I’m not even talking about the really popular ones, I’m talking about the ones with no more than 20K followers on Instagram. I understand why they don’t respond, sometimes they even post and talk about their DMs and it’s always shit like “I will eat your ass” and shit. How do I get them to respond though? I genuinely wanna talk to some of these people, the people at my school are kinda lame if I’m being honest.
