Same with my dad. But I still managed to acquire the necessary skills on my own through hard work. Almost no-one has a "player dad" by the way. Just like very few men today are actually good at this

Get rid of that mindstate completely. If you knew enough to even consider this a reason for your lack of effectiveness with women, then you know enough to get on the righ track. Excuses or reasons for past failure do nothing positive for you in this instance. My dad died when I was young, never got to have a man to man conversation with him. Carry yourself like the man you want to be and you will become him. Lean on male freinds, challenge yourself in other areas Have confidence in yourself at all times, even in failure.
