In today’s video, I’m going to present you 3 types of archetypal seducers from the Robert Greene’s bestseller “The Art of Seduction” and show you how you can apply some of their universal and timeless traits to not only get the girl you want but to decrease people’s defensive attitude and thrive in business, politics, and society in general.

Think of Seduction as soft power. The ultimate influence. People will resent you if you apply brute force, and the first chance they get they will fight you back. But imagine if you knew how to get in their minds and hearts and let them surrender to you on their own…

Seduction trumps Brute Force. Every time.

1.The Rake. A ladies’ man through and through - and not even hiding it. He’s a seducer who pursuits relentlessly. His intense desire and admiration for women are what draws them to him.

Never self-absorbed and in his head, he’s always focused on the object of his desire. There is nothing he wouldn’t for a lady - no matter how brief or casual the romance.

Rake’s primary weapon of seduction is language. He embraces his womanizing reputation to stir a natural curiosity in a woman and offers her a glimpse into the sensual delights he has to offer.

He’s exciting and irresistible, creating a sense of thrill and risk that take women away from the mundane everyday life.

Sensual Rake can not be tied down and moves on quickly.

The greatest danger for a Rake comes from other jealous men. A classic example?

Don Juan embodies this archetype completely.

  1. Archetype 2: The Ideal Lover.

The ideal lover’s superpower is observation. His gaze is turned deeply into a woman’s soul. We are becoming so immersed in technology and our virtual lives that we are losing the ability to read others.

The Ideal Lover, however, is good at precisely that: asking vital questions about what makes a particular woman tick, carefully observing her, finding out her deep wants, and then positioning himself as a total solution - a person to fulfill all her needs. He mirrors the ideals a woman held in childhood and fulfills all her desires and fantasies. Perhaps it’s a knight in shining armor, a bad boy, a shy nerd, or a strong silent type - whatever she secretly wants, he’ll pick up on and provide.

Meeting a woman’s needs on such a profound level will result in her becoming hooked on and unwilling to let him go.

A famous representative of this archetype was Casanova.

3. The Natural.

We look at our childhoods fondly and go through our adult lives life with a sense of nostalgia for the times long gone. Childhood was a time of bliss for most - we were still untainted by societal rules and impositions on us.

The Natural’s seductive allure lies in his innocence, a childlike quality, a youthful vigor he posses.

A child in an adult body, as strange as it may sounds, is what people find irresistible.

Natural is unrestrained, spontaneous, wild - a true refreshment and a sharp contrast to the dullness of everyday life. He’s unguarded and vulnerable to the world and thus he lowers people’s defenses towards him, becoming accepted wherever he goes.

A famous Natural was the much-beloved Charlie Chaplin.
