She’s bread crumbing you and that can be form of abuse. She’s giving you the bare minimum so that you get the high you need, then are stuck on her and left wanting that high. I would 100% stop talking to her. When you engage you start the cycle all over again. To get your mind off of her, practice mindfulness, meditate, do things that you enjoy doing. And don’t expect to get over her within a day. That won’t happen. Just acknowledge the thoughts about her, know that she is toxic, and that you deserve better.

I feel for you brother and it's encouraging to see that you already know the answer.

Just change your last question into a statement... "get her out of my head!".

The best way to do that is to cut all ties with her. Delete her texts, pictures, anything that reminds you of her. Like u/DogBones- said, you have to avoid any gatherings where she may show up. That's tough to do, but necessary until you've gotten over her completely.

Get rid of everything that reminds you of her and get working through the pain and sadness of "her" being gone. Treat this like a death of a friend. That girl you knew and had built up in your head is gone and you have to mourn until it no longer hurts. That process will take however long it takes and one day you'll realize that the thought of "her" doesn't stir up any emotions.

If you do all of this, and you cross paths with her in the future, you will see her as a totally different person.
