This happened a year ago (when i was depressed with low self esteem. Had begun swallowing trp, but still beta) I was at a bus stop. The bus pulls up and opens its doors. I am directly in front of the door, with a pyt to my right, and an old man to my left. Naturally, I begin to board before anyone else. Suddenly, the geezer puts his arm against my chest, and then uses it to gesture the young female aboard (some genuinely disrespectful shit). I didnt think it was right, but lacked concern, and went on after the girl did. Were that to happen today, Id be heated as fuck. My question is: should I have not given a shit and been passive (cuz hes an old dude and everyone was a stranger), or should I have retaliated out of self respect? If I shouldve retaliated, then how so? Im not still bent up about this or anything, jw how I might handle a similar situation in the future.
