To be honest brother, it's going to be hard without sex. You will eventually turn into one of her girlfriends like you are now. Sexual attraction will die out because there's no physical attraction. Because there's no physical at all. I could sit here and tell you to play certain games to get her spark back but it will just end up as just "talks".

It's hard for everyone right now. Especially the dating aspect. Focus on what you need to do to be better or stay home and relax haha both are good.

Also fuck it and ask her to meet up if you're both from single household's and covid free. Up to you dude!

You can't have a girl hold you back because of all the time you're investing in her. Now's the time to invest in yourself. But if you don't want to let go, setting up a date shouldn't be challenging because of covid.

Having a date at the park or lake Someplace outdoor should be fine. You can't stay inside forever, people could lose it! If she wants to build a romantic relationship with you, she's going to have to follow your lead and understand your point of view. Texting isn't enough and she needs to see that. Meeting up once a week to Just Hang Out is better than texting. Btw don't push sex first date if you get her out the house.Let her know you're her man, instead of her girlfriend. Sounds like she's more concerned about covid than you are. Hope this helps.

However it starts to feel like a text buddyship and not like dating anymore. She still texts and interests for me and tells me about her and how she generally feels in life but from a flirting perspective I feel like it’s just dead.

You said it yourself, 5 months and no sex. You don't have a relationship, you have a pen pal.

Why would she invest in you? You're giving her all the attention she needs, and she doesn't even have to see you in person.

If you want something MORE then you actually need to spend time with her, alone.
