For example, did you mean it as a joke when you asked her to go to Pizza Hut? You asked it as a joke, but given you're making this post, it seems like you wanted to. If that's the case, be clear with your intent. Don't ask people out as a joke, they won't take it seriously. If you want to go out with a person, ask them seriously because this is something you seriously want.

And you said you think "she may be the one." Huh? There are so many people on Earth, it's not a good idea to get hung up on one person, especially one you barely know. Because truth be told, there is no "one." People will come and go, sometimes even those you love. So, with that said, why are you desperate for her? She doesn't want to go.
