I'm still developing with TRP. My primary goal isn't women but to build myself as a man, women are merely the bonus.

My father last night went into the ER before I went up for annual training for the national guard. I was already on the road when I got the news he has a tumor at the base of his skull. He has a history of heart issues. They operate on Tuesday.

My mother died when I was three, so he's really the closest family member I have. Old school type man, army officer. Very redpill type guy.

Only a handful of people know, and most of those is my chain of command. Nobody in my unit knows because if I talked about it I'd break down. I wanted to post here because it is a community of men. I don't want sympathy.

My question here is, how does a man react in such a situation? I don't want to think of the worst case scenario. But if it happens, how would the best way to conduct myself be?

Even in extreme grief I believe a man should control his emotions, so how do members of the redpill community do it?

On another note. He's in the middle of a divorce. It was a mutual split, but if things go south, what can I do to make sure she doesn't go nuts and try to claim his property? (I haven't expressively read his will because before this if I saw it I'd tear up, because the man's already had four heart surgeries and he honestly could die at any moment it seems.) He's divorcing her for infedelity and the fact she's been smoking marijuana.

I appreciate all the help I can get. I won't be able to read responses till tomorrow night due to the fact I will be running a .50 cal range till around 7ish pm.

Tl;dr: Father going in for brain surgery. How do I conduct myself if things go south?
