In 2022-2023 I lived with a group of roommates at my house in the suburbs of Colorado, quiet, peaceful neighborhood, picturesque Colorado suburban town. These two roommates of mine had a friend they had met at a club in downtown Denver, one of my roommates was a lesbian and so was this girl. By lesbian I mean hardcore, she was never rude to me but you could always tell because I was a straight white male she looked down at me, almost passive aggressive but not quite. She even had a sticker on her car that said “sorry boys I’m lesbian”
Over the course of October 2022 - April 2023 she was over OFTEN at my house hanging out with the roommates. She was there for Halloween, Christmas Eve and Day, thanksgiving, new years.. she would stay days and days at a time, cook dinner and breakfast the whole 9 yards, got gifts for everyone in the house, even me. (I got a Jango Fett coffee mug) there was no mention of her having a child, no hint or indication otherwise, I’m talking no car seat, no kids stuff.. it was like she was just a normal single lesbian woman.
In April/May after we all move out I get a random phone call from the old roommate telling me that she was arrested. The entire time we knew her and had her over she had previously murdered her 5 year old daughter, tried to partially burn the remains, and stuffed what was left in a storage closet.
She never had a hint of guilt or remorse in her at all looking back now. And she spent all those holidays with us while her daughter was locked away in a storage closet.
Needless to say it has all fucked me up, and she had the NERVE to plead not guilty.
