Wondering if anyone has encountered this in their experiences: I'm not legally married, but own a home with my partner where we share title and mortgage. We're going through the buyout negotiation or forced sell process. Her real estate attorney mentioned to me she wasn't seeking any repayment for utilities that we used during our time owning the house. Can a former partner (whether spouse or not) really try to claim repayment for utilities that we used during living there? We split the monthly utilities when we lived together. Thanks
