Get some friends to take photos with a very high quality camera.

One facial shot (smiling, preferably grinning) as your main image. There's evidence that grinning with eye contact to camera, or eye contact to someone OFF camera, is very effective.

One shot with friends hanging out, or going out somewhere. Doing something interesting and looking like you're having fun.

One shot with a hot girl (even if its an ex), just say "with friends" for caption or nothing. As long as it's not like you making out with this girl or something that might be a little show-offy.

One action shot, sports, with people (better) or without. If you can show off your body here, if you're a bit muscular etc., shirtless.

I once briefly met a particularly worthless nerdy guy who has all sorts of social ineptitude problems, sounds like the most beta guy you've ever met, can't even stop talking even when you're trying to leave, and yet he has a defined 6-pack, I was quite impressed. It made me think maybe he's more interesting and does more fun sports, than his social problems indicate. He was a nice guy and so very innocently beta, so I helped him with his career.

(NOW.... what to do if you cannot GETTTT the above photos).

Start hobbies where you can get such shots.
Don't have friends? Start making guy friends first. Meet up with people on social events. Try to find local groups on reddit or Meetup.com.
Don't have someone to take your photo? Use timers on your smartphone or buy a camera+tripod, and take a photo from level, as a friend might if he was standing in front of you.
Become a better man. Online dating needs to show that you are already this "better man". Because women don't wanna date every decent guy that messages them. They want you to be that prince charming unfortunately because plenty of people line up.

You're in fact BETTER OFF if you can find a date offline or approach women in day-game/night-game. You'll be better off this way. You'll also defeat your anxiety.

P.S. Online dating is VERY COMPETITIVE. You're competing with alphas, 6-pack-ab, 6-foot-4 tall, rich, 30-45 year old guys, who are all messaging the SAME girls you are messaging. A hot girl... by hot I don't mean 10/10. I mean 7/10. Hell if you're blond and look decent, it's almost automatic 7/10. These girls get 150 messages EVERY WEEK.

Or if you're out venturing solo ask someone else. People understand. I always help if someone asks me to take a photo.

You should be aware that online dating is a buffer. Rather increase your social exposure with thrilling activities and raw offline confrontation. You wont need any of that.
