So, I know that IAW Briffault's Law and Hypergamy that a women will be attracted to a man she will benefit interacting with and will only go for guys who can provide equal to or greater than the last. But, does personal preference (height, build, style, race) come into effect in this? I would imagine that a chick would go for the best option (the most alpha) based on her sexual preferences. But would that mean someone outside of their preferences who is more alpha and and/or has more game than anyone else around her would still not have a chance?

TL;DR: Does the alpha mentality supersede sexual preference?

For Instance, I myself am a black guy with a more of a rocker kind of style (double rider jackets, band Ts, lots of black and whites, boots, mohawk). Would that mean that my chances with the prep girl or the athlete are slimmer than someone who has more aligned interests and/or closer in race/ethnicity?
