First off, I'd like to thank TRP for finally allowing me to realize that I was a beta, a fucking placemat for women. Been reading for a couple months now, and it's really helped me come to terms with what I was. I had initially written out a really long post, until, because of course it would happen, my computer crashed right as I finished typing, and I lost everything. So to keep a long story short: recently started college. Between reading TRP and finally getting fed up with the way I was treated by the girl I liked (essentially, I had to deal with the responsibilities of being her boyfriend without getting any of the perks of the position), I finally realized how pathetic I was. Decided it was time to change. I can tell you more of my story if you wanna know, but I'll start off with a few questions:

-Although the initial realization of being a beta was an important first step, how do I continue to swallow the red pill? -How do I improve myself so that I'm more attractive to not only others, but also to myself? -How do I approach women I've never talked to in my life in college? I've always been a pretty good talker and am pretty charismatic once I've met someone and have an "excuse" to talk to them. But initiating conversations is something I have trouble with. It's also hard because I'm a commuter (yeah, living at school may be more fun, but I can't argue with going to an internationally known school 15 min from my house for about $3k a year after scholarships. Having no debt appeals to me). Plenty of chicks I would like to talk to, but there's one in particular I see a lot, especially during free period in the dining hall.

Anyway guys, even if I don't get any answers, I can't thank you enough. TRP has been a huge help to me already, just by me browsing the site. Glad and excited to have joined the community here.
