I am sharing this here as the story of what happened to this woman is awful and I think that we should help fight against victims being mistreated by the system no matter their sex.

This link goes to a Change.org petition that will help ensure future victims of SA and rape are treated better by the specific police department that has been so late to investigate what had happened to the victim. It is a small amount of progress I think, but still progress.
