I've heard this phrase before, not only on "loser reveal" type videos but also IRL. I've heard some people argue that it's dehumanizing because it describes women as a favor or status rather than people. Meanwhile I've also seen people reply to this by saying "well they're only describing themself, not the women".

Personally I'm inclined to agree with the former perspective, and I think the latter takes the problem too literally. No the person isn't literally describing women as a kiss, but I think your word choices can unintentionally reveal your mindsets. For example, if a YouTuber commonly puts buzzphrases like "feminist lies" or "woke" in their video titles, most people will find it off-putting - not necessarily because the person won't make a single good point but because it seems they have an unusual obsession with the people they are criticizing.

And what's more, "never had a kiss" seems like they are framing it like a status and a binary. It's okay to stay single for the rest of your life, plenty of single people have great lives. So "never had a kiss" seems to portray an insecurity. One which could potentially be so strong that it supersedes the desire to simply enjoy a woman's company. And the fear of being single won't simply resolve itself by getting a relationship. It has the potential to affect behavior in the relationship. Which again could be a turnoff for women.

Would you say "never had a kiss" is indicative of a problematic mindset? Or is it just a phrase?
