Every time I've ever showered with a partner, I made a point to wash my nether regions surreptitiously, usually while she is washing and rinsing her hair. I don't want her watching me as I'm soaping my butthole, that feels weird as fuck. And I sure as hell am not going to announce "I'm going to wash my asshole now!" because I guarantee she would take that as an "ick" as well.
