Lately my sister (high school years) tried a couple of times to manipulate me. I'll describe just 1 example: Last week, at around 11 pm, she asked me to drive her to her boyfriend. I said I have stuff to do plus it's pretty late anyway. She said she'll pay me for gas. I said no. Then she said "cmon" a couple of times in agressive way, but I kept my shit together. Then she said that if I dont drive her, she'll just take a bike and go there. It was obvious to be that she's too lazy to do that, but she tried to play me - she and I know well, that this late at night, in winter, a lot of bad things can happen. So she tried to play on this card - that I'd feel protective of her and therefore do as she wants. In the end she stayed at home, but it got me thinking:

Is it normal for a woman to be like that? Are all women doing this?

Is it normal for a girl to try to manipulate people around her with such tricks?

Can a woman not be this manipulative and still be a woman?

I know that main TRP subreddit's opinion is AWALT, all women are manipulative whores, blablabla (this is ofcourse mainly from people still in anger phase), so I'm looking for insight from men who are past that phase.
