What’s up again, TDLR at the bottom.

Boys, let me tell you where I’m at right now, because I know a lot of you have been through something similar.

So I’ve got two women in my life at the moment, and they couldn’t be more different. (Names changed for obvious reasons)

Jessica: she’s the newer one. No baggage, no crazy history with me, no drama. She’s secure, sweet, and when I’m with her it just feels easy. She’s not as physically maxed-out as Fiona (we’ll get to her), but she’s the kind of woman who shows up, gives me peace, and just vibes with my mission. When we spend time together, it’s grounded. It’s forward-facing. I feel secure, like she could actually slot into the man I’m building into without pulling me back.

Fiona: oh man… where do I start. This is my ex. Fiona & I reconnected a few days ago after months of no contact. She showed up at my apartment to bring me something, looking like an absolute snack. The second I opened the door, it was like the spark never left.

Years of history. She knows my old life, the grind I came from, every scar and every high point. And the sex? I won’t lie, it’s nuclear. Pure fire. The type of chemistry you almost don’t believe until you’ve lived it. The kind where you just know she’s hooked too, because the energy is mutual and intense.

But here’s the problem: with Fiona, the chaos comes with the fire. She’s already circling me heavy, pushing for something bigger. She was in my apartment cooking a meal for me the other night—after I had to sit beside her and literally watch her take Plan B because we were playing with fire. That’s how close it got. I’m talking “potential fatherhood in 72 hours if I didn’t act” close. I can’t even lie, when she finally swallowed that pill I felt a million pounds come off my shoulders.

Now here’s where it gets tricky. Fiona’s hinting about moving in once my property deal is done. She wants to slot back into my life like nothing’s changed.

Except everything has changed.

I’ve grown. I’m not that same man grinding just to get by anymore. And while part of me is nostalgic, part of me wants to believe we can build something strong off that old fire, the reality is I don’t know how much of my future she truly belongs in.

Jessica is calm waters. Fiona is a storm.

One gives me peace, the other gives me passion.

And me? I’m standing at the crossroads asking myself which woman actually adds to the man I’m becoming. Because the truth is, too many guys let nostalgia and lust pull them back into chaos. Too many guys lock themselves into women who are living rent-free in their heads just because the sex is mind-blowing.

That’s not me.

So right now I’m playing it smart. Both women are in rotation. I’m not rushing into anything. I’m watching who proves herself. Who can actually walk beside me without dragging me into old patterns. And if neither qualifies? I walk, clean.

At the end of the day, my mission comes first. The woman who adds to that earns more of me. The one who doesn’t? She can stay in my past.

That’s where I’m at boys. Curious, who here has been in this exact spot? Calm girl who brings peace vs wild ex who brings fire? How’d it play out for you?

TL;DR:

Seeing two women: • Jessica = peace, secure, forward-facing, adds calm to my life.

• Fiona = my ex, nuclear sex, deep history, but chaos and push to move back in.

Torn between nostalgia/fire vs. peace/stability.

Not rushing. Keeping both in rotation until one proves herself (or neither does).

Mission first, women second.
