The article makes a fair point about class and misogyny, but it does it in the worst way. By saying “men” hate Angela Rayner because of their fears and fantasies, it smears half the population with the same brush. That’s sexist. Imagine if the genders were flipped and someone wrote “women hate a random Male politician because he embodies their fears.” People would lose their minds.

The real problem isn’t all men. It’s certain political voices and commentators who dislike Rayner’s style or background. By blaming men as a whole, Moore weakens her own case and creates the very kind of gender bias she claims to be fighting against.
