It’s how you say it.

I recently attended a city event where there were people out on the street, vendors all over the place, people selling crafts, clothes, and anything else you can think of.

I love to open people. I just get so much energy from it, and I really enjoy cutting up with everyone I meet.

Unless they’re silently seething, the people I talk to seem to enjoy it as well.

I just wanted to offer a little tip to everyone here, especially those of you who may struggle with WHAT to say when you’re meeting new people.

Focus on HOW you say the things that you do.

LAME scenario. FORGETTABLE scenario:

“Hi, how are you?”

“Good, thanks.”

How id open instead:

“Hi, how are you?”

“Oh… I.. am… sooo good.” - and I’d add a lot of effect when I said it. Close my eyes when I say “soooo”

I wish I could add a voice clip to drive the point home, but what I’m trying to say is that you can really easily SPRUPE UP basic conversation. It’s what makes you memorable to people, and being memorable is one of the most important things.

Learn to have fun with it all.
