According to Wikipedia, the “Finger-Pinching Conspiracy Theory” is an anti-feminist conspiracy theory that originated in South Korea. It claims that there is a deliberate attempt to spread and promote misandry through symbolic hand gestures, and that radical feminist groups have been disseminating these hidden messages to humiliate men with small penises.
What I find interesting about this is that it says that in 2021 a company retracted and issued an apology. Since then, many organizations have faced protests from these theorists and have made similar apologies. In my country, Argentina, something like that has never happened — no company has ever apologized for body-shaming men. In fact, just a few days ago I saw a TV commercial from a peanut brand that basically mocked penis size. It’s quite a cultural shock when you compare it with countries where it seems to be extremely frowned upon when men complain about body-shaming.
