If you saw the first episode in this Netflix new TV show that's out tonight... uh... well I'm getting some really really really bad feminist vibes from this TV show.

  • Hot woman, alcohol problems, doesn't try to fix it, doesn't get second dates, sees a psychiatrist, sleeps around one-night-stands, but still she's a heroine and she's helping others.
  • men are always cheaters, she photographs them, but women always want to believe their man is loyal to them.
  • small-town hot girl is being hypnotized by a man, she tells her to repeat "It's not your fault... it's not your fault... repeat after me..." wtf. "he made me do horrible things." (like what?). "he had ruined my life, thanks for saving me."
  • cut-scene of perpetrator, hypnotizing main character woman, offering her a ring... telling her to smile... hypnotizing her? So horrible hypnotizing perpetrators give out rings now?

Am I just imagining things? Am I just assuming themes that don't exist?

What the fuck is this shit? What did I waste my 40 minutes on? Why does this have 8.9 rating?

P.S.: Krysten Ritter is hot! It's not my fault for watching! It's not my fault! I can't control myself!
