i'm a pretty big introvert and dating apps always made me anxious. i'd literally stare at a blank screen for 10 mins before sending a simple hey because i was overthinking everything.

since i work with tech i figured i'd see if any of these ai dating assistants actually work or if they're just cringe. used a few of them for a month and here is how it went.

rizz: this one is all over tiktok. it's fine if you want quick lines but honestly a lot of them sound like a bot wrote them. some are way too aggressive/nsfw for most people. you'll probably get bored of it once you realize girls can tell you're using a script.

wingman ai: fairly disappointing. the coach feature is basically just a regular chatbot that tells you to be more confident lol. not worth the money.

chatvisor: this one has a simulator thing where you can practice texting without actually matching. helps with the anxiety part but its a web app so kind of annoying to use on a phone.

drdate: it focuses on your profile first. it's got a profile audit tool that gave me some pretty brutal feedback but it worked. the reply generator feels more natural too because it just scans the vibe of the whole convo instead of giving you random pick up lines.

anyway if you just want funny lines rizz is best of all. if you want to fix the root problem i'd check out drdate since it actually fixes the profile.

anyone else tried these? let me know
