I just exited monk mode about a week ago after a break up that had me working on self improvement for a couple months. I decided the best course of action was to face my fears and exit monk mode head first and balls deep, so I set up four dates this week with different girls that were interested. Unfortunately, I did not plan ahead, and I am realizing that I have finals next week. Tonight, I am supposed to be meeting with a girl that lives about 40 minutes away, for "a walk in the park and coffee". I don't really feel like hanging out with her anymore, and I don't see it going anywhere realistically, as I've never talked to her in person before, I don't have a house to myself(live with parents while I go to college, I'm 19), and she doesn't seem like a slut in the slightest. I want to visit my grandparents tonight, and study for finals, but I want to keep this girl open as a future option. I don't want to just blow her off but I'm looking for a tactful way to cancel our plans.

Also, as a side question, the girls I've set up dates with and dated with have been texting me first daily. I respond to the point, short and sweet as to not blow them off, and try to taper off the conversation so I can save the magic for in person. Is there any way to stop them from texting me constantly without blowing them off? Or is okay to go radio silent and only contact for plans?
