Specialists are trying to eliminate the concept of parental alienation, through promoting a noble cause, elimination of violence against women.

In both reports I have found, they denounce violence against women (never acknowledging the opposite) and they also denounce the practice, through which an abusive partner maintains access to their victim, through the concept of parental alienation.

Although this is a subset of the divorce and alienation cases, both the UN and the European council, name parental alienation as "pseudo-theory", without providing and piece of evidence or even reference, as to why this is.

You won't find anything written on their webpage, but in the baseline reports one can find things like...

Courts should also end the practice of limiting theparental rights of non-abusive parents on grounds of the “parental alienation syndrome”, and appropriate training should be provided to judges and other relevant professionals on the lack of a scientific basis for “parental alienation syndrome”, as well as on the harmful effects of violence on children exposed to it.

III. Definition and use of the pseudo-concept of “parental alienation"

is full of problematic definitions and only half a page. It says that there is no accepted definition, but this does not make it pseudo science. In fact, the only science that can be called "pseudo" is the one for which we have clear evidence, that it does not apply, such as homeopathy. In all other cases, we have theories without proof or disproof yet. But those are small letters, if we just want to dismiss fatherhood.
