There's this girl who attended one of my courses that I'd genuinely like to get to know better. During the course I kept everything completely professional and never made any move or hinted at being interested.

The course is about to end, and after the final exams we'll never have a teacher/student relationship again.

My question is more about what would actually have the best chance of working without coming across as awkward (the teacher trying to hit on a student is quite always a bad idea).

What I would do is

- Follow her on Instagram after the course ends (maybe along with a bunch of other students)

Wait for an opportunity to reply to one of her stories

But I always struggle to find a way to respond to stories without making it look too obvious that I want to hit on her from the first message. And in this case I think the key is making it look very casual at the beginning.
