Seems like they wanted validation from you. Not sure if it's good to refuse her that. On one hand she gets enough validation from men during the day. If you dont give her that you make yourself special. On the other hand you don't cater to her needs. Perhaps you should only give her validation as a reward for something. (Not for sex because both of you benefit from that)
